INTERIOR AND DECOR - FOR RESIDENTS OF THE HOUSE, NOT FOR THE DECORATOR. If home improvement is done by professionals, it is important that at the end of the work the owners do not have the feeling that they are in someone else's home. Therefore, the owner’s desires are a priority, and the decorator’s task is to find an acceptable and aesthetic form for them.
EACH ROOM IS A SPACE FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE. In the process of decorating, it is important to remember that any room is a shell of space and time, designed to achieve a specific goal. Decor, like design, should fit this space - match the way people live in it.
UNFairly FORGOTTEN CEILINGS. A non-standard step that can radically transform the space - increased attention to the design of the ceiling. Most often they forget about it. For example, a black ceiling instead of the usual white will make the room exclusive.
The term was introduced to British policies to describe British Prime Minister Harold Wilson’s inner circle during his terms of office (1964-1970 and 1974-1976); prior to Tony Blair, Wilson was the longest serving Labour Party Prime Minister. Members included Marcia Williams, George Wigg, Joe Haines, and Bernard Donoughue. The term has been used subsequently, especially under Tony Blair, for the sidelining of traditional democratic cabinet structures to rely far more on a close group of non-elected advisors and allies. Examples of this practice include Blair’s reliance on advisor Andrew Adonis before his appointment to the cabinet. Traditionally, the role of creation of education policy would have rested on the Secretary of State for Education and Skills when formulating policy.
JUDGE ON THE COLOR OF THE PAINT AFTER ITS APPLICATION ON THE WALL. Having studied the paint in the bank, you should not make hasty conclusions about its shade. Apply a little paint to the wall in the room where the surfaces are to be painted, and wait for it to dry. If the color is fine, then you can paint the entire surface of the wall.
CLASSICAL RULE OF THREE. Items collected in a composition of three should differ in three ways - shape, color and size. For example, you should not put three identical photos on the mantelpiece. It is preferable to choose a photo, a vase and a book as a decor - objects that differ in each other according to all the mentioned signs.
THE RIGHT DECOR IS THE RIGHT PLACE. A decor item that is perfect for a particular interior looks different in different places. We recommend trying several decor options before choosing the final one.
THE COMBINATION OF BLACK AND WHITE WHICH SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE. White is considered one of the most versatile in the interior color palette. In many ways, this opinion also exists due to the wide range of its compatibility with other colors. But professional decorators are wary of black and white color duets. This maximum contrast combination looks too sharp for living space. An exception are paintings in a black frame on a white wall, which unobtrusively add graphic art to the interior.
